NEWS UPDATE!!!

So Week 2, and we finally have internet at Marjolein's house in Texel (a teeny tiny island in the North of Holland).

Updating you an an extra eventful week. Kenya and I started off enjoying a few days of great boredom...

Luckily we were saved with a Sinter Klaas celebration in Groningen with Oma's side of the family. We enjoyed spending time with Isis, Mees, Charlotte and Isabelle, opening a variety of cute Sinter Klaas presents :)
The Best Part of Our Week...
This week we spent 4 days in PARIS-- Staying at the Kyriad Hotel at Paris Disneyland!
We were maniacs; getting lots of exercise sprinting between attractions at Disneyland Studios, Disneyland Park, Disney Village and even up the Champs Elysee (Paris' main shopping strip).

Oh, and P.S. Darcy went out on the town for the first night last night... Hitting up Texel with Marjolein and her beau Gerben in her new Dutch Attire.

Anyway... More from us later. We will be posting all of our holiday photos once we get home!
Time to go and watch 'The Lion King' with Kenya, Marjolein and Gerben <3

Hello Cyber Space!

Hello Everyone across the waters...
Kenya and I are alive and well and have been in the Netherlands for a week and a half so far. We haven't as of yet had internet, so bear with us!!! But here we go with a quick update.

We have been staying at Tante Ineke's in Arnhem (mum's birth city) and have done a lot of shopping, pancake-eating, movie watching, writing, singing and mucking up as per usual.

Yes, we miss you all, but we are certainly enjoying the 8-degree temperatures over the warm Australian Summer... (NOT!!!) While the weather is brisk, it isn't too unbearable yet.

Today, we are at Tante Mieke and Ome Joop's house in Duiven for dinner, and had the chance to go iceskating!! We also had a hefty serving of Pofertjes in a quaint little restaurant! Oh, BTW, a "Coffee Shop" is a Cafe which sells drugs... So we are only visiting restaurants at this stage ;)

Almost forgot... IT COSTS MONEY TO USE THE LOO! That's right!! Even when you have the crying urge to let all loose when out and about so as to continue your shopping in peace.... THINK AGAIN!! It costs 0.30 Euro cents (approx. $0.40) to relieve one's self.

Well, this is only a quick summary, but don't fret! KJ and I are keeping diaries to make recalling easier when we return.

We love you all, allteit (always),
xoxoxo

P.S. WE ARE BOTH RETURNING
TOGETHER ON Jan. 31st 2012
